Guest guest
Hi All, We are seriously considering taking the biomed route for our 6 year old son. So far, I have made the following observations: 1. The amount of anti-biomed material on the internet far surpasses that published by the proponents of this approach. 2. Lack of scientific studies showing the effectiveness of this approach 3. Most of the evidence is based on parent testimonies. 4. Even on this forum, I have read about parents trying a GFCF diet or other variants of the biomed approach, but most of the times all they have to say is that they have seen improvements. No further details. I would like to hear from folks who have successfully (or unsuccessfully) tried the biomedical alternative. Thanks, - Adnan ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Guest guest
It is good to remember that even if you choose to medicate, the behavioral approach is a necessary concomitant. You may opt to attempt to change the behaviors without medicine, and realize that as a last resort, you may add medication to your treatment plan. Medication without psychological treatment is not treatment at all.
