Is there any chance you could write an article about the GOOD and BAD

side of being an Aspie and try to get it published anywhere?

Possibly you have contacts? And by submitting an article you can help

us all in a positive way.

" I write articles for an online magazine. Although my defintion of

journalist is a bit looser than most realize, I still use it for an

answer to " What do you do? "

<snip>

" May I remind you that AS is categorized by problems relating to people? "

" We think we are treated unfairly, and we can be. However-we are not

entirely blameless. Teevision, btw, has made storylines and characters

as AS. In CBS's Criminal Minds, it is one of the regular cast members.

And they show him, warts and all, and also show that AS has its

drawbacks. Oh, he's 23, with something like 3 doctorates, or close to

(character, not actor) ABC's Boston Legal has one recuarring

character, although it's WAY over the top (like the show itself is).

If your kid gets a story in the press due to being AS, doesn't that

say something? A blow is struck. "
