Guest guest
I was really interested when I read this.Callum has asperger's and his big brother has a rare syndrome called Townes Brocks. He has various issues including being born without a bottom, chronic renal failure,a peg for feeding. Townes Brocks is also a " truncated mutatation " on chromosome 16 and is genetic when he was tested we found out his dad also has it. I have never had Lucas assessed but he has some ASD features ,obsessions and difficulty interacting with others.Quite a few of the other children affected also have similar difficulties.I always thought it was due to so much medical intervention when he was younger but maybe there is something else in it? Thankyou very much for the lovely words about " spindle fingers " we loved them and they are on our fridge. Love and Hugs, Webster.
