Guest guest
Regina My son had flu like die off symptoms (including fever) when we started Diflucan and when we moved to Lamisil. Dr G said they shouldn't last for more than 2 - 3 weeks. Our varying die of symptoms (especially lethargy) lasted 22 days. After the die off we found better focus, and especially better motor skills. Guest guest
Yes, my son had " flu-like " symptoms during die off reaction from Nizoral as well as Diflucan. Guest guest
Thanks, Vicki, Could you specify, what kind of symptoms did he have? Did Nizoral help? Did you notice any difference between Nizoral and Diflucan? I think that my son was doing much better on Sporonox. Thanks a lot Regina Re: reaction to Nizoral? Guest guest
Regina, He had a slight fever and was listless and tired - for 2-3 days. I did not notice a big difference between Nizoral and Diflucan. Haven't tried Sporonox; just recently switched to Amphotericin B. Guest guest
Hi, This is a late comment on a previous post. Has anyone noticed hyperness and increased thirst from Diflucan? My son switched from Nizoral in April and has seemed more hyper. But, he also hasn't had any O.T. since March 20th (my insurance won't cover), so I wondered if this could be the reason too. I appreciate anyone's comments. Thank you, KathyP Re: reaction to Nizoral? Regina, He had a slight fever and was listless and tired - for 2-3 days.
