Guest guest
I have a mother who would like to correspond with the parent of a teenage who is on the protocol. Her son is 15. Anyone out there interested or know of anyone? Kathy

Guest guest
I cannot promise anything for sure. The 15 year old boy could send me an email first and say a little about himself and and school and I could forward it to my son's e-mail and see if I can get him to respond. He is very OCD and ADD but very good with computers. He is 17 years old and has taken a real bite out of his life as in missing 3 years of school essentially. He went on home teaching from the district mid 8th grade and is 11th now. He is just now starting to come out of his coma so to speak but somehow he learns in other ways and still tests out pretty high with a few gaps especially in math. Amazing that he has kept pace as much as he has. He is 24/7 computer. The gamma globulin seemed to jolt his brain on this second shot. It may not " hold " but that is in addition to Effexor; Wellbutrin, Valtrex, Diflucan, and Valtrex. At least for the moment he is suddenly wanting to do things he has not done in months or years. He also met a hockey player from his high school on line playing ultima on line and almost went with him to a hockey game this week. He is suddenly thinking of more things complicated things he wants to do on the computers. He has two going at one time. I am going to be buying curriculum for him on CD rom and see if that goes better as far as curriculum. I do not know if the district will pay but they will accept is as credit and the cost is $245 for 5 courses. I got the idea and started checking with people on homeschooling sites and chat groups for homeschooling. Switched-On Schoolhouse is the name of the CD Rom curriculum. I did a search for homeschool info and bought a " curriculum fair kit " . It is from alpha- omega publishing. They have an online school. Of course the school would not buy or give credit for the bible class and I doubt seriously if I could get my son to participate in that course just yet. They have regular subjects and electives for grades 3-12. _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com

Guest guest
Hi, I have a sixteen year old son that I am attempting to teach how to send and receive email messages. We haven't started the nids protocol w/him yet... until he is able to be tested by Dr. G, but would love to find others out there for him to socialize w/via emailing. Best wishes, Re: Anyone out there with a teenager? Thanks . has no language and I don't think he can email anyone. His Mom think he can read but is not really sure. Guest guest
It sounds as if this teenager is a bit more " together " than mine. ALthough he is very social, he is also not quite on target and I doubt would be of much interest to a computer wiz. I would be happy to correspond iwith the mom thoug, for any issues relevant to teens...----- Original Message ----- From: " " <lauwva@...> < > Sent: Tuesday, April 16, 2002 2:18 AM Subject: Re: Anyone out there with a teenager? > I cannot promise anything for sure.
