Hi all,

recently I have read Dr Goldberg's Committee Testimony and noticed

that he has said, " to date, NO family with whom I have constituted a

preventative program for has had another 'autistic spectrum'

disorder child. "

Is there anyone on this list who have had another child following Dr.

Goldberg's prevntative advice? Was it difficult? What did you do or

not do differently during pregnancy and infancy? I would be

interested in any information anyone has.

Thanks in advance.

I met Dr. G when I was pregnant with my third child who has no problems.

she was six on wed. I nursed her for a year and I went off dairy( her

colic went away and had I known I would have been off dairy during the

pregnancy although I have no problems with it) Introduced foods very

gradually, had the eosinophils run at 10 months, was cautious with vaccines,

slow separate and only when she was well. Kept her off milk until she was

two. The only problem she had was this year (five)started a bit of asthma,

and I took her off milk and she is clearer and also what I had been told was

epotic dermatitis went away like magic! Also she no longer complains of

tummy aches, but a dynamo in every other way.

I'm curious if this protocol is used to reduce the risk of autism occuring

in another child or to reduce the risk of a variety of conditions, i.e.

ADHD, OCD, etc. Was this basically the complete protocol?

Thanks,

M
