Guest guest
Basically your child meets < than 4 of the characteristics needed for a dx. of Aspergers. The doctor is acknowledges there is something not right with your child be he does'nt exhibit enough of the Asperger signs for him to give you a dx.Fauna Rice <faunatoo@...> wrote: My son was just diagnosed with PDD-NOS. Guest guest
PDD stands for Pervasice developmental delays. Usaully there is a delays present (speech, fine motor, gross motor etc)to get this diagnosis. With Aspergers there uaually are no developmental delays present, usually only social skills. Can look a lot like ADD or ADHD. Look on-line for more info on these terms. Sue PDD-NOS My son was just diagnosed with PDD-NOS. Can anyone tell me what the diffrence is between this and Asperger's?
