Guest guest
, Welcome to the group. Sorry about your wife and RA. My advice is to stop breast feeding and treat the RA as the damage to the joints is permantent. I'm sure she would like to be able to keep up with your child (and any future children) as they grow up. Picking up and carrying children can be very hard on bad joints. It is sweet that you are trying to help her by joining the group. Your support and love will be very important to her as she goes through this. Not that anything with babies and birth goes "to plan" but breastfeeding was the ONE thing we were doing 'right'. Now she is being forced to decide to stop feeding (the likely choice) or postpone treatment.Bless you all, and heal them joints!!!!Philip
