Guest guest
Dee Dee: I was on Enbrel for 3 months and it didn't do much for me. I then switched to Humira and have been on it for a year. Recently because of some insurance problems, I was about 10 days late for an injection. The good news is that the Humira is really working because I had as bad a flare as I have had in about a year. I had to up my Prednisone back up to 10 from 2 mg. About 5 days after the belated shot and the upping of the Prednisone, I finally feel back to normal. It is horrifically expensive if you have to pay for it - my co=pay went from $10 to $350, so I have to find a different doctor in-network to prescribe it. I think it might take up to 3 months to see any real effects. Hang in there. gloria

I do remember Enbrel working great pretty quick so I am a bit nervous at the lack of results so far....Any additional info on Humira would be great. I really want to avoid taking mexotrexate if I can as I am considering more children. Humira takes 3 weeks to 3 months to work. Pris
