Guest guest
I have a 13 year old who is NT and she had that vaccine at age 11 and withing weeks her grades began dropping, she started complaining of headaches. Now her allergies are totally haywire. And she is showing signs of asthma. NO one in my family has ever had asthma. I don't beleive this is coincidence. > Does anyone know if the Hep B shots given to 12 year olds is safe in > immunocompromised children? > Please advise. Guest guest
- No it is not!!!Go to Merck vaccinenet and enter, click on healthcare provider and read it all.It states that there is a different protocol for that one on immune deficiencies. But be sure to read that it was only studied for 5 days no followups after that and read all the reactions documented for those days and then decide! My oldest was immune deficient and received it and he has not been the same since. Dr Bonnie Dunbar from Baylor Medical School in Houston had her brother and 2 students react to that one.One I think went blind or something like that and her brother still has rashes and diarrhea. The other I'm not sure. They needed it for them to be able to work in her lab. She is a vaccine researcher and she spoke out against that one and was outraged that it was] only studied for 5 days.NIH turned down research for this time and time again. And Dan Burton got her funding to research this one. She wants to see my boys. Don't mean to scare you but I wished I would've known this. Guest guest
's post ended with ask your Doc how many double blind studies were done on the Hep B vaccine... My back ground is Public Health and vaccines save lives BUT let us all ask why we are vaccinating infants against a sexually transmitted disease. The vaccine wanes so it is not effective when the child becomes sexually active. Kathy -NNY
Guest guest
Okay, I'll ask. Why do we give them this vaccine so young? My 2 year old is just finishing up her shots and I've saved the Hep B series for last. She will be entering an early childhood preschool as a peer mentor next year so I wanted her to have the series. Dr. G mentioned something about fast food, which she occasionally eats. I just wondered what your opinion on this vaccine is for this age group. Thanks! I was once told by a health professional the Hep B at birth recomendations were put in place for the population of people who would not have access to or choose to seek health care or use protection when they became sexually active. (ie low income, migrant farmers, immigrants). She said " They feel like it's the only time we (as in the health care profession) will be able to get our hands on them " speaking of the child's being born in a hospital. Pretty scarry.
