I think your idea of girl-style along with F's idea of one attempt at a regular pushup per set is great. I also recommend starting with your feet elevated (like on a chair - with a spotter!), and then lower yourself to the floor slowly. Don't attempt to push up, until you can successfully control the lowering part. Guest guest
Doing the girlie thing is a good way to ease into them. Judie --- Agaw12577@... wrote: > You know what? I can't do a push up. Guest guest
Yes, , you're exactly right...you need to keep the abs tight to keep the back perfectly flat...also, tuck your tailbone under a little. ;-) F > You know what I have noticed? Guest guest
It's coming along...slowly, but surely...wish it would be quickly and surely...but it's coming! Thanks for asking. ;-) F who has always dragged her a*s on major projects and whipped them together in the final stretch...but I'd like to change my style...it's hard. > > ps to F: what's the scoop on your report? > ----- Original Message ----- >

Any suggestion , I've finally gotten to a point where I can do the pushups with ! I NEVER used to be able to do boy pushups and I figured I'd just never be able to do them like that. Just substitute the girlie push-ups for them (and like suggested try a real one in the beginning.....make sure your back isn't dipping down in the middle). Also, I've noticed on all the tb tv workouts that TQ still does girlie push-ups whenever they do real push-ups.....so don't feel too bad about not being able to do them yet! Push-ups are really hard......but you'll get there. You just have to keep working at it
