Guest guest
I’m very interested in hearing how it works. I wonder if the raisins are gin sour or have a sweetness to them. Sounds pretty painless. I wonder if gin makers have websites with info on this. There was an article on our local news the other night about it, and alot of people were saying it had helped with their RA. They didn't give out the recipe, but I thought I would try it anyway just to see. I went to the liquer store to buy the gin, and the cashier there had heard of the mixture, and gave me the recipe for it. I forgot to get the raisins though, so I can't mix it up till tomorrow. If anybody has already tried it, please let me know if it helped, and if you want to try it, here's the recipe: I pint cheap gin I box white raisins Mix together and put in refridgerator. Stir daily for 10 days, then eat 9 raisins per day. It takes about 2-3 weeks to notice any difference. It's something about what's in the gin and what's in white raisins that when mixed together it is like a medicine that doctors cannot perscribe. One doctor on the news show I watched said it was better than any medicine he could perscribe for the RA. I'll let you all know what happens if someone else doesn't post first to tell if they tried it.
Guest guest
Here’s a site on it also. http://www.healthcentral.com/peoplespharmacy/pharmfulltext.cfm?ID=19980 & storytype=PP_favoriterem Here’s another. Harvey suggests it… http://www.naturalhealthnotebook.com/Recipes/Gin_Soaked_Raisins.htm Thank you for bringing this up. I told my husband about it and he said his dad told him about it 15 years ago, but couldn’t find white raisins so gave up. One recipe I’ve seen tonight says golden raisins are fine and so are dice dried apricots. It takes about 2-3 weeks to notice any difference.
