Guest guest
What are you going to do since Blue Cross is not covering " so far " . I have the same problem. Interesting that BCBS is covering and not Blue Cross in California. It is not on the pharmacy list and would have to be requested by a letter of medical necessity by the ordering physician in order to try and get it covered under medical benefits as opposed to pharmacy. Is anyone with California Blue Cross PPO having any success at getting gamma globulin covered??? Has anyone on the list with Blue Cross of California gotten Kutapressin covered through medical review for medical necessity? I would like to hear from anyone who has gone through medical review for these medications whether or not they were covered if you have Blue Cross PPO California. I need ideas about what to put in a letter to request for medical necessity. The letter will have to come from Dr's office. Has anyone gotten Dr. Goldberg to write a letter of medical necessity for Gamma Globulin or Kutapressin. If yes I would love to hear the gist of what he said to try and get medical coverage for these meds.
