Guest guest
-- If you are covered by an insurance company, HMO, or PPO in California (with few exceptions), you should consult first with Dr. Goldberg to determine what tests are absolutely necessary. Then pursue getting them authorized by the primary care physician who has not yet complied. If these tests are medically necessary, and the doctor still refuses, you can complain to the Department of Managed Health Care in California: www.dmhc.ca.gov This could save you considerable expense.
