Guest guest
Hi, Dig into old files, there are plenty of information , I asked fir help in the same issue and people replayed very nicely. I staid in Day Inn, it is the closest hotel to the office 818-345-9410, about $100 for three people/night. I can not provide more information, we drove to Tarzana from San-Francisco, so I have no tips about car rental, etc. I just know that Tarzana is about 45 min driving form L.A. airport. Good luck Regina SEEING DR. G Hi all, I know it was mentioned that a new patient package was being put together. I was wondering if it was completed. I have a friend who will be coming to see Dr.G shortly and needs some info. on hotels, car rentals, travel tips etc. Any advice would be appreciated. Guest guest
If you ask early enough, The Days Inn will give you a medical discount. We are paying 71 dollars a night for 3 people with that discount. Tina M. Hendrix Cure2000@... Guest guest
Hi all, I just wanted to add another hotel to the list of places to stay near Dr.G's office, I just found the brochure. It's called the Red Roof Inn, it's a little further away than the Days Inn takes about 7 minutes to get to Dr.G's by car. They have a nice pool and a whirlpool(fenced in), free continental breakfast, an onsite restaurant, free local calls, microwave and fridge in the room. The rates were $70,$80 & $90, depending on where the room was located in the building. The number is 818-347-8080.
Guest guest
i cannot get blue cross to pay for phone consults, how are ou coding them? > Dear listmates, > I know some of you are not traveling to see Dr. G because you don't understand how things work. After your initial visit, you only occasionally have to travel to see him. In thirteen years, my son has seen Dr. G three times. You can plan your family vacations to Disney around these visits. > > All follow-up appointments (about every six weeks in our case) can be done by fax and phone. I pay for the phone time and my insurance company Blue Cross Blue Shield pays for the phone consult. On the phone appointments we do the same thing that would happen in an office visit. We discuss current bloodwork which is the scientific means Dr. G uses to make health decisions for your child. We also discuss the changes I have observed in behavior and functioning. The only thing that is different from a regular doctor's visit is your child is not in the room. Think about it, when you go to the regular doc, how much treatment is based on bloodwork and parent observation? > > You still need to have bloodwork done about every six weeks, but I have that done by a local lab. Dr. G writes the paperwork, and I don't even go through my local doctor. I take the labwork orders directly to a lab that is covered by insurance. The lab then faxes the results to both Dr. G and my local doc. If I wanted to I could get all my medications for my son filled by Dr. G. The local Target Pharmacy call Dr. G's office for refills. > > If you are financially unable to pay for your airfare contact: > Sharon Layeski > E-mail Address: Aut2BMiracles@a... > She works hard to make this happen for all families. > > Now get that paperwork into Laurie at Dr. G's office. And make sure you have her put you on the cancellation list so you get seen sooner. The Office Phone and Address are: > > Dr. Goldberg Phone: 818-343-1010 > Avalar Medical Group > 5620 Wilbur Ave. #318 > Tarzana, Ca. 91356 > > >
