Guest guest
I was totally shocked and I am still in shock to know that I have went through the process of filling out all of the paper work in order to get an appointment with Dr. G and then to be told he cannot see me because of my insurance coverage. I am a military spouse and it really is ashame that many of us have to sit my on the sidelines because we do not possess the right insurance needed to see Dr. G. I had no problem purchasing the 3 tickets needed to get there but for 2 kids to be seen would cost me both my arms and legs. When will Dr. G be open to an insurance such as Tricare if ever? Thanks Msadvo ---------------------------------
Guest guest
The issue is not whether Dr. Goldberg will accept Tricare but whether Tricare will accept the concept of . We are working that issue in the NE Region. Kathy -NNY
Guest guest
Hi I'm Diane and we're in the military too. We're in Oceanside at Camp Pendleton. We also go to Dr. G. Here's what we did. We had our Pediatrician at the base hospital re-write the orders for all the initial blood work up and therefor it was all done there in the lab and sent off free of charge. They didn't pay for allergy test but they did draw the blood for it and then I just sent it off with a check. Now with all the meds that my son has been on and is on presently, I just take the written RX from Dr. G to the base hospital pharmacy and the just fill it no charge. So the onlt thing We have to cover is the visits to Dr. G. once every 6 weeks or phone consult. And I just read that somebody just wrote back and said that they've been sending in the office visits receipts to tricare and they cover I think they said 50% of it. So really It's not nearly as bad as it sounds in the beginning. Hope this helps. If you want to talk some more you can e-mail me privately. Take care.
