Guest guest
Hello all, Parents of my 7 year old client have been so impressed with the results of her training, they asked me if I could also work with their 5 year old son who has already been flagged for ASD. Pete had responded to a post several months ago and highly suggested HEG training for a 5 year old as opposed to EEG training. I agree HEG would be a good option for this youngster and have a pIR HEG. Before I start, I have the following questions: 1. I don't want to over train, so what would be a good length for training? 2. Often with pIR HEG, the temperature continues to rise after the baseline is initially set. It is my understanding that the training actually begins when the client plateaus and has to keep above the baseline and to stop when they fall below and can't bring it back up. If I was limiting training to 10 minutes, when does training time start? 3. I would like to use a DVD for training and for a boy with limited interests (trains and planes), is it best to use a DVD he likes to watch (over and over) or find one he hasn't seen? I appreciate everyone's suggestions. All the best, Millie
