Guest guest Posted March 9, 2002 Report Share Posted March 9, 2002 I have come up with a good snack for those who are on a restricted diet and are trying to get in some protein. Drain a can of chick peas, toss with oil and sea salt and either fry or bake at 400F for about 40 minutes, stir every once in a while. The longer you cook them the harder they get, they are kind of like peanuts and they taste best when they are warm.
