Guest guest
Thanks to all the members of the Parents' Coalition for their support over the last several weeks. A couple of us here in So Cal have been very busy with preparing for the ASLA Convention (now over, whew!), boxing up video-tape orders and connecting with Med Schools for the May 18th Video-Conference. As I mentioned before, the ASLA (Autism Society of Los Angeles) separated from the ASA (Autism Society of America) and is now known as the United Autism Alliance ---- they are their own, separate organization. It was a very nice event this year and we were able to make some nice connections with some other organizations. A special thanks to M.N. for stopping by our booth and providing such good assistance! As we've posted previously, our next Live Video-Conference is slated for Saturday, May 18. We have committments from Chapter groups in several areas throughout the US. If you would like for your chapter or those of you in a specific geographic area to participate in the upcoming conference and need assistance, please contact me and I will do whatever I can to get you started with trying to secure a location with video-conferencing capabilities --- but each location will require a " point-of-contact " person. SPECIAL NOTE: Our focus for the May 18th Video-Conf. will be Major Universities and Medical Schools.
