(Wash off the blue dye and dry off the tablet - a lot of our kids react to

the dye). We have had good luck by crushing the Valtrex and mixing it with

a little " Imagine " Dairyfree pudding.

PLEASE TRY TO GET YOUR KIDDOS TO TAKE THE MEDS EARLY!!!!

As hard as it may seem, the " pill taking " is difficult for our kiddos. What

we must keep in mind is that our children may have to take these meds for

quite a while. I have convinced Nick that these " meds " are for his benefit,

as are vitamins. He now takes them from my hand with a glass of water. I

use the words " these are your meds " . It is necessary for them to get used

to it early!

The best of luck. It is important to instill this in our kiddos's early.

At first we hid the finely crushed up pill (rinse off the blue) and hid it

between two thin slices of banana. He caught on pretty quickly, now we are

crushing it up and putting it in his rice milk.
