My Name is Tina Hendrix, I'm dx CFS, and a member of The coalition Board

of Directors. I have two precious daughters, Meghan, 13, dx ADD/LD/CFS, and

, 10, dx ASD. I'm starting up and directing our coalition

Fundraising Division today. You can be a part of the solution to our

dilemma....see below for your blueprint to participation:

Fundraising is an excellent tool to educate the public. it is a great way to

develop lifetime business relationships for our Non profit, and to pull down

the political Berlin wall blocking our access to research dollars and

credability, brick by brick. Although i'm lost without spellcheck, i have

much successful experience in this area, and am excited about involving you

and bringing in your talents and desires to help. No fundraising event or

venture is too small or too large. Each type is essential and reaps its own

rewards. here is our Division Structure:

Ribbons-One person to make and send and promote ribbons

Golf shirts, T-shirts, coffee mugs, etc.

Direct Mailings and phone soliciations

United Way, Community coupon, phone companies, etc.

Grant Writing

Committee director oversees, coordinates, participates and reports to

Division director

Write Grants

Solicit corporate and private individuals for funds.

I envision one task per person, not multiple tasks. And or multiple persons

per task. Putting family and health first, then setting aside a reasonable

amount of time to complete your fundraising goal. Don't need experience, but

choose a committee or job that you like, or are good at, or want to learn

more about (by doing). Looking for leaders to head these four committees.

Need committed individuals who will organize and produce, set goals and

deadlines and meet them, again, putting family and health first and avioding

burn out and being overwhelmed. you will receive all desired and necessary

support from myself and other board members. WE WILL BE A TEAM.

I welcome all experience, ideas, suggestions, questions and concerns, and am

capable of and willing to provide all necessary training. i expect

commitment, and knowlege of your time and health boundaries. Please respond
