Hi Sharon,

They should contact the Regional Center of Orange County. They have a website:

http://www.rcocdd.com/contact/contact.asp

or they can call (800) 244-3177 or (714) 796-5222 (24-hour line). Regional

Center will also be able to give contact names/numbers for the school

district(s) in the area for additional information on services.

Donna

Need help in Orange County, California

I am looking for a contact person for a family contemplating a move to Orange

County, California (from Nebraska). They have a child who will be entering

middle school, and would like to know what the services are like for children

with Autism.

If you can help, please let me know and I will pass on your contact

information.

Thank You!

I hate to say this but hte Rgional center is going to

be no help to a child over 3 years of age.

Do they have any idea where they are moving to? the

county is large and every school district is diferent.

I can answer some questions if they email me direct.
