the problem with milk

There are several problems with milk: first and most significant is the milk

protein, also called " casein " , " caseinate " , " bovine milk protein " , etc. The

reason is that it is extremely allergenic. 100% of human infants are allergic

to it; that's why you must wait a full year before introducing cows' milk to a

baby. The milk protein in baby formula has been broken down into a form which

(some, or maybe even most) babies can tolerate. After a year, most kids can

switch to milk without a problem. Our kids, however, are still allergic to

milk. If you think about it, it makes sense: all milk is species-specific,

designed for the young of that species only. Cows' milk is for baby cows, not

baby humans or anything else. And the cows are smart enough to stop drinking it

when they grow up! :)

The lactose in milk is a problem for a lot of people because it is very, very

hard for many people to digest, i.e., " lactose intolerance " . kids often

have " leaky gut " problems therefore are lactose intolerant. Finally, lactose is

a simple suger which feeds yeast (stay away from anything with the suffix, " ose "

as in: glucose, sucrose, lactose, maltose).

Hi,

Could I please have some clarification re what in milk is the problem? Is

it the lactose which breeds yeast or is it the pprotein, casein, or is it

both? Is this proven?
