Hello Subba,

You can try changing the action to clapping by using the hand over hand

technique.

Be ready to catch his hands when he goes to flap then make him clap (saying

clap, clap,) and then highly praise him. It will take awhile but with our son,

it greatly reduced his flapping.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have a boy 4 years old and he has

slight autistic features. he used to flap the hand

most of the time in a day. so how to avoid that one?

please give me advice to stop that one.
