Guest guest
Hi All, Ready to have some fun? Raise some Awareness? Raise some $$$$? Earn a prize for yourself? Here's How! The fundraising division is inviting you to join our July challenge. Call your local supermarket or department store TODAY and set up a time for any day in July to collect funds for . Let them know we are a nonprofit organization and you would like at least a 4 hour block of time. This usually does NOT require a business license nor a presentation of our nonprofit status document. However, if you need the document, I'll fax it to you. Now, get your supplies together: a folding table and chair, a coffee can labeled " DONATIONS " with a slit cut in the lid, and a hand made poster listing the main diseases. I will mail you the brochures, and e-mail you the donation receipt master form. Bring a friend, relative or child with you to participate and receive valuable experience. Also, a photo of your kid is good to have on hand. Most people will be in a hurry and give small donations. I approach everyone and ask id they would like to give to help children with autism and related disorders. If anyone is interested in knowing more about , hand them a brochure and talk to them about what you know...and refer them to the web sites. Some say all I have is change or a dollar. I say, no donation is too small, it all adds up...and it does! When you're done, count it up and deposit it in your account and make a check for the amount to , or a money order, and mail it in to Laurie at Dr. Goldberg's office. Let me know your total by August 1st, because, if we have 20 or more participants at 20 or more locations, I will present a $100.00 gift certificate for Toys 'R' us to the one that raises the most $$$$ amount. You can book at two or more locations if you like, and combine your totals (each location will count separately for the 20 location minimum). 1. Ratzlaff and I have Safeway in Santa , CA booked for Saturday, July 13th. There's ONE location, 19 to go! Folks, this is not limited to the group only, invite your friends, family and colleagues to join the challenge (just please have them notify me). Tina M. Hendrix Cure2000@...
