Guest guest
we had this happen at about 4 and 6 (both boys)--they caught a virus with enlarged lymphs and high fevers. it lasted about 3 or 4 days. then i got it and had several huge lymph nodes and ended up with kind of like a steven johnson syndrome. i've also had an autoimmune response that deafened me, so we have something going on with us that is weird. barb--- mamommy200136695 <mamommy2001@...> wrote: > Hi, > At 2 1/2 my son was treated for cat scratch fever > and it was around > that time that his behavior changed somewhat. > During that time he > was spending a great deal of time playing in > sandboxes at school and > at home. Guest guest
I have wondered about many things with my son (we are awaiting the arrival of the paperwork so that we can get on the list to see Dr. Goldberg). Along the lines of what you have been discussing, one thing comes immediately to mind. Will would waken almost every night when he was 3 1/2 to 4 and come into our bed. The reason became clear over time as the underlying problem worsened: he had profoundly swollen adenoids that were nearly blocking his nasal passages completely. This occurred even though he had been obviously ill only 3 times before age 5. I questioned the doctor about it over and over and he said it " must have been some virus. Guest guest
Vicki, On Dr. Goldberg's website there is a place in the " conference " area called " Ask Dr. Goldberg " where you can post questions to him and he will answer them. It may take him a few weeks to get to it, but he does respond to those posted questions. You can also search that area's content... it goes back several years and is a wealth of information. Good luck!
