Guest guest
donna, both my daughter mary and i have experienced die off a few times as we have switched antifungals over the years. duration and severity can vary due to amount of yeast in system and effectiveness of antifungal and many other variables. it has been different each time for us. it is, however, usually immediate. one time die off lasted 3 weeks for her and one time it was so severe for me i had to stp that particular antifungal until i was in better shape to handle it. then i tried again and it was bearable and the result worth it. tina > I was wondering how long your kids were on antifungal medication before you > noticed the die-off reaction? has been on Nizeral for only two days > and he already seems to have regressed a bit. Guest guest
Thank you. It's good at least to know what's going on. Suddenly he's more stubborn, less verbal (needs to be reminded to use sentences instead of single words and grunts), and suddenly wants to play with again (not that I have anything against , who has been a wonderful learning " friend " for him, but his interests had been widening a great deal recently) and refuses to use the potty. Hopefully it won't get too much worse. Guest guest
My son had little die off-he mostly was cranky and slept on lot with the first anit fungal and then it was a gradual lifting of the fog and a brighter, happier child who learned to talk A LOT in the months following! Hang in there--that is the worst part-seeing them get worse before they get better. BUT, it is so worth it!!!! Good luck! a

Good luck! a You're not kidding about that part. I've been so stressed out all day! It's like lost months of progress. I appreciate the support from all of you. Hopefully, I'll be able to return the favor when this is all behind us! Best to all of you, Donna
Guest guest
> chelation, the yeast and bacteria problems will appear again. I will > start chelation later. Does it mean that in the next two years for > the chelation, I have to experience the vicious cycle of : On > chelation -> Yeast and bacteria overgrowth -> Probiotics to kill > yeast and bad bacteria -> die-off reaction (Fatigue) -> recovered -> > next chelation cycle.... ? What should I do to alleviate the die-off > reaction. I use GSE for yeast problems, clears it up for me in about a day or maybe 2. You can try that. Or use activated charcoal about 45 minutes after the probiotics, to help clear the die off toxins. Dana
