To All, On Aug 5 I will fly down to keep my appointment with Dr. Galpin in

Tarzana. I was referred to him from Dr. G's office. What can I expect to

happen to me on this visit? What is his protocol like? I have had very

disabling Fibromyalgia for the last fourteen years. In 1995 I had to stop

working, and by 2000 I was bed ridden. In Oct of 2000 I started Dr R. St

Amand's guaifenesin protocol. Because of that decision and the action that

followed, I was able to get out of bed and return to doing a few things on my

ranch in northern California. I am hoping to be able to return to work at least

part time because of the help that Dr Galpin will give me. Before getting so

sick I farmed almonds and trained horses. The almond farming was a way to make

a living, the horse training and riding was the love of my life. I hope to be

able to return to the riding, horse training and horse breeding. Due to the

pain of movement and the exhaustion, it has been a long time since I have been

able to ride my good mare. I also have a horse that I rescued from harm after

he had been made into a run away and bucker by abuse and bad horsemanship. I

hope to rebreak him because he really is a good one. The time that I have been

so sick has given me a chance to think and redirect my life. I hope, because of

Dr Galpin's treatment, to be able to both breed and train a line of very gentle,

quiet yet responsive and sensible horses that can be ridden safely by

handicapped individuals who are willing to learn basic horsemanship, which in

reality is nothing more than the Golden Rule put in terms that a horse can

understand. As Luther said, " Everything that is done in the world is

done by hope. " I have the hope, may I also be given the reality of this dream.

I have the hope, may the faith and love and the actual doing be granted to me.
