Guest guest
, Welcome! I think the best way to find out about the wait is to call Dr. Goldberg's office directly at 818-343-1010... I'm glad to say that it sounds like the wait is substantially shorter than it used to be (we waited 6 months). The women in the office will be glad to help you and can send you the paperwork to get started on... the faster you get it sent back to them, the sooner you can get in. FYI, if you decide to go, they will want a copy of your child's medical history, so you might want to get your pediatrician's office working on that. Can't help you on the other question as we're in Indiana, but there is not really a protocol available to other doctors YET (it's in the works from what I hear), so there's not a lot of hope in that department. Some good news is that many of us (myself and son included) have received free round trip flights for our child and one escort to travel to see Dr. Goldberg. Other good news is that for us, insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield) has covered its " part " of everything except for the phone consultations that we do now since we cannot fly out to see Dr. Goldberg in person. Concerning the flights, you need to contact Sharon Layeski at " Aut2BMiracles@... " and she can fill you in on that part and get you going. We are so thankful for her help! Best of luck. This is a great group of people who will support you in this endeavor the best we can. Guest guest
We are due to see Dr. Goldberg for the first time next week. My son has Blue Cross PPO insurance, is this the correct insurance that Dr. Goldberg accepts? thanks Sonya Caroline Glover <sfglover@...> wrote: , Welcome!
