,

I just wondered if your child has vision problems (our son does) and if so,

do you feel that the cod liver oil has had any effect on that? The cod

liver issue has been going round and round in my head lately (we are not on

it). I read something a long time ago saying that Megson thought it

was helping to reconnect the retinoid receptors.

Caroline,

We are not aware of our son having any vision problem. In fact, if

anything, he seems to be visually very strong.

However, I'll keep an eye (no pun intended) on this since we just

took him off the fish oil three weeks ago today. Dr. G said he was

worried about impurities in it, even though he said it was a good

brand (Kirkman's).

Thanks for letting me know about this.

what is considered a safe level of vit. a? how many

of the kirkman cods does dr. g. allow? my kids are

both on the pfeiffer prescription vitamins. some of

them are in megadosing amts. for the purpose of

chelating and correction of biomedical abnormalities.

we have done this for 2 years now, and we have seen

improvements in our oldest son (11). were you on the

pfeiffer program? dr. ansum at pfeiffer follows some

dan protocol but the clinic mainly follows the

recommendations by dr. pfeiffer who started the

clinic. thanks for you input and information. i am

interested in what dr. g might be able to do, but i am

also nervous about the use of drugs. barb
