Guest guest
Hi all, Anyone interested in taking this on? Dear Ms. Hendrix, Thank you for youir interest in Network for Good. We appreciate your inquiry. Here is information on registering for Network for Good and I have also included details on the payment and reporting processes so that you can get an overview of the whole process. REGISTERING: All public organizations recognized as exempt from federal income tax under 501©(3) are included in the Networkforgood.org Giving System as potential recipients of donations, unless they ask to be removed or are removed. All Network for Good listings come from the GuideStar database which includes basic listings of all public 501 ©(3) organizations. To register your agency's Network for Good listing, simply enhance your agency's basic GuideStar listing with additional information about your mission, objectives, beneficiaries, etc. If you are not listed on GuideStar, you can go to their site and register using your agency's EIN number. You can access GuideStar at: www.guidestar.org 1-800-784-9378 Any GuideStar enhancement then automatically shows in the listing on Network for Good. Your agency may also go further and link its website to Network for Good directly. Full instructions for the whole process are as follows: 1) Go to Network for Good's website at http://www.networkforgood.org. 2) Click the Nonprofit Resources link. 3) Under Receive Online Donations, click Go. 4) On the Fundraising page, follow the step-by-step instructions. Steps 1 and 2 are mandatory. Steps 3 and 4 are optional. VIEWING YOUR DONATION INFORMATION: In order to ensure our donors' privacy, we have established a system by which recipient agencies may access donor designation information online. We use this system instead of sending mail or email notification that may reach the wrong hands. This automatic system also allows us to efficiently provide online processing at no charge to our donors and our recipient agencies. The initial check payment received by your agency includes a PIN and specific instructions to access your customized on-line donor report through PipeVine's website--PipeVine is the payment processing agency. To view your reports, once you have your PIN: 1. Go to: www.pipevine.org 2. Click login 3. In the Login screen, type your Federal Tax ID Number in the FEIN field and the 8 digit PIN listed on your check in the password field. This enables you to access donor information. You may check this site as often as you like. Donor designation is updated within an hour of designation. PAYMENT SCHEDULE: PipeVine forwards check payments to agencies close to the 15th and 30th of each month. EFT payments are forwarded on the Thursday closest to the 15th and 30th of each month. Checks are processed by PipeVine, so checks will be from PipeVine, not Network for Good. However, the check stub will say that the payment is for donations received through Network for Good. Please also be aware that filling out an EFT application is not the same as registering. Applying for EFT is only an optional part of the registration process. Furthermore we encourage agencies to wait until they receive their first check payment from PipeVine to register for EFT, since applying for EFT directly with PipeVine is a much quicker process. All agencies receive their first payment from PipeVine in the form of a check, regardless of whether their EFT application has been approved. This is in order to assure that each agency is correctly issued a PIN and that their account is correct. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us. Sincerely, The Network for Good Customer Service Team http://www.networkforgood.org donation Notes: Hi, I am the Fundraising director for a 501©3 non-profit organization called " The Coalition " (Neuro Immune Dysfunction Syndromes).
