Another Fundraising update

Hi All,

During the United Way Pledge Drives, please have your freinds, family

colleagues, neighbors, etc. designate their funds to " The Neuro-Immune

Dysfunction Syndrome Medical Advisory Board and Research Institute " . This is

Our name which is listed on our 501©3 letter. I need a volunteer to

research the United Way site and find out when the next pledge drive is.

I Viewed the website which AOL is partnered with to list Non-profit

organizations for those who are looking for a cause to donate funds or

volunteer time. There is lots of great info on how to start and run a

non-profit, etc. I requested instructions for listing for donation and

volunteer solicitation, and am awaiting an answer. I encourage you all to

take a look at it and see what you think:<A

I also researched the Grant App section of the AOL foundation site. Their

focus is somewhat loose and we might fit. They like to partner with their

grantees for a long term relationship of giving. That is a wonderful

opportunity for us. Who will volunteer to send a letter of inquiry or the

proposal (whichever is required)?

FYI re: Celebs:

I saw an " Intimate Portrait " segment on Lifetime TV channel tonight featuring

Kelli preston. She spoke of her mother having Fibro Myalgia for years. When

her mother became very ill, Kelli dropped everything to stay at her mother's

side an nurse her back to health, including researching the disease. i

believe she is a definate yes for us to contact. Who would like to volunteer

for that exciting task?

Marcia is assisting Rosemary with a letter that Rosemary will send out to the

roster asking for funds. Thank you both1 Just goes to show that you

don't have to be on the fundraising committee to rake in the bucks. if

anyone out there would like to follow suit, just let me know so that i can

make sure the solicitation letter is in good standing with our objectives.
