Guest guest
IM Injection. And both properties I believe. Guest guest
Our son is 5 (will be 6 Sept 25th). He weighs about 42 lbs. And you are correct (I measured it), the exposed portion of the needle is only 1/2 inch long. Guest guest
Such a tiny needle! I started with 5/8 " 25 g and now use 1 " 25g (recommended). (46lb boy) I understand that slightly deeper penetrates muscle which acts as a better dispenser/reservoir of the medicine (ie stores it and is able to regulate distribution into the body better) than if it is stored in the fat tissues. Of course got to make sure that you inject in the upper outer quadrant of the butt (seems to have a lot of flesh there anyway) so as not to hit the sciatic nerve.
