Dr. Goldberg says thanks to all of you for helping with the cause

Dr. Goldberg wanted me to post this message to thank all of you who are working

so hard to help him help your kids:

In the midst of so many frustrations, all your children, all of your comments

mean more than can be said. We are so close to a chance to change the future

for all of you and your children, that to miss this would be crime. This

" mobilization " and rallying of effort is just the thing to ignite the kind of

fire to change all this. Science and all medical logic is on your children's

side, it's time the media was too.

The Times article and the recent president's message of the ASA says it all.

Thankfully, it's time to change. More and more of you are not resigned to

accepting what has become illogical. Sadly, the media continues to report on

the baffling " transformations " of Autism, and how we are spending millions to

study a disorder (as the term is formally used and looked up) that in reality

the vast majority of the children out there today cannot even have.

It's time parents, the media, society woke up to the medical reality this IS a

disease, we have a true medical crisis on our hands, but one which can give

every parent and child a realistic reason for hope and treatment, rather than

" resign themselves " or similar " supportive " statement. Imagine what could be,

IF congress understood that helping your children now (of course that starts

with the whole idea your children can be helped) could mean productive citizens,

new tax payers, NOT social dependents . . .IMAGINE, and let's make it happen.
