Guest guest
Hi , I don't know if anyone replied to you, but I did have the itchy, and sore scalp. I'm not on Tasigna, I take the Ariad AP24534 drug but same side effects. I posted here and TGel shampoo was suggested - It works great. It's made by Neutrogena. I have a rash on my face now and it does feel like sunburn. I don't have any recommendations for that yet because I still am dealing with it. I hope someone can help us. Best to you, Jackie S. ________________________________ From: daniel_derrida <no_reply > Sent: Thu, January 21, 2010 4:41:35 PM Subject: [ ] nilotinib (tasigna) itch, rash hi all, i recently switched to nilotinib (tasigna), in an effort to get my pcr down to zero (had decent response on gleevec, but wanted something more aggressive to try to get down to zero). anyway, i started nilotinib about 7 days ago and have developed a rash on my face that looks like a moderate sunburn, as well as a really intense itch on my scalp. anyone have any tips for managing these side effects? they are not intolerable, but are quite annoying! any advice would be much appreciated. thanks, daniel
Guest guest
Hi Jackie, Thanks for posting this! Me too on the rash! It is so funny, I started two days after you and seem to follow you in side effects by a couple of days...The rash isn't too bad and as my boss said it makes me look " healthy " (whatever that means!). But it does feel like a mild sunburn.
