Hi all,

My dr. did an unscheduled PCR of the blood (I think he was curious to see if

there was anything going on), and I got the results a few days before Christmas.

It showed that I went from 50 to 4.4 on International scale and 4 to 0.6 on

*other* scale (I believe it's the older standard). Either way, it's over a 1 log

reduction in 6 weeks. It's encouraging, I remain on 60 mg dosage and doing ok

there with minor side effects. Platelets dipped below 50 for a short period, but

came back up on their own.

So for those with T315 mutation, there is hope out there. I know Beths great

results have given all of us hope for a new choice available to all soon.

Hi Hans,

That is another really spectacular Ariad result.....more than a one log

reduction in 6 weeks!! Looks like the T315I mutation has met it's match with

this drug. Congrats to you.
