Guest guest
Hi Hans, well, that's a pretty cool Christmas gift, congratulations!! Three cheers for Ariad!!! a ( Bobby ) Doyle, dob 12/17/29 Brecksville, Ohio, USA DX 5/1995 Interferon 9 weeks/Hydroxyurea 5 years o2/2000 to 06/2002 Gleevec trial, OHSU 06/2002 Gleevec/Trisenox Trial, OHSU 06/2003 Gleevec/Zarnestra Trial, OHSU 04/2004 Sprycel Trial, MDACC, CCR in 10 months 04/2008 XL228 Trial, U of Mich. It showed that I went from 50 to 4.4 on International scale and 4 to 0.6 on *other* scale (I believe it's the older standard). Either way, it's over a 1 log reduction in 6 weeks. It's encouraging, I remain on 60 mg dosage and doing ok there with minor side effects. Platelets dipped below 50 for a short period, but came back up on their own. So for those with T315 mutation, there is hope out there. I know Beths great results have given all of us hope for a new choice available to all soon.
