Guest guest
Dear , ______________________________ This does NOT sound like a cml specialist to me. No one is doing FISH any more, not when you have a string of PCR tests to compare. FISH is not a sensitive test and someone who is pcru or close...FISH is not going to show anything. (reply to Sue) _________________________ I have had 47 BMB/BMAs over the years and every time I go for my appointment, it is on my list of " to do " things at the clinic. Is it because I am continually in a trial and the drug company requires it in the trial? I feel like if I refused, they would take me out of the trial. It just seems excessive to me, but perhaps if I was PCRU, I would not need it. I have been diagnosed as late chronic for a very long time now. It used to bother me when I would hear that, but I find it is no consequence as long as you are stable. I had a myelogram this week and the attending doctor wanted to know why I had so many scars from BMAs. He was blown away by the number. I just wonder when too much is really too much. Thank you for your responses, they are worth their weight in gold. Hands & hearts, Lottie Duthu
