Guest guest
Cheryl What are the medicos doing about your bleeding - what management have they done so far - and what are the options given. Are the transfusions continuing? Comparing my own experience to yours (bleed-out) - my specialists (there were a number having discussions on a treatment plan) - stopping the bleeding was their priority - I was taken off glivec because of all the other medications that I was given including a number (meaning like a packet) of gyno pills to see if they would stop the bleeding - did not!! for 6 days. Let us know - your different treatment option may help other women in the same situation. Thinking of you - you are loved and cared about - keep wiggling those toes Sue (Aussie) __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4793 (20100121) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com
Guest guest
Sue... Yes - they have me on double birth control pills everyday for 2 weeks as well as a drug that stops bleeding of an unknown source...I was taken off Gleevac for 2 days but am back on it now - I have had 10 units of blood transfused in the last week, but the bleeding seems to be under control now so I'm hoping I won't have to do that for awhile. Things in my mind are becoming a bit calmer, I'm hoping to begin " living " somewhat again soon... Thanks for all the love and prayers Cheryl > > Cheryl > > > What are the medicos doing about your bleeding - what management have they done so far - and what are the options given. > > Are the transfusions continuing? > > Comparing my own experience to yours (bleed-out) - my specialists (there were a number having discussions on a treatment plan) > - stopping the bleeding was their priority - I was taken off glivec because of all the other medications that I was given including a > number (meaning like a packet) of gyno pills to see if they would stop the bleeding - did not!! for 6 days. > > Let us know - your different treatment option may help other women in the same situation. > > > Thinking of you - you are loved and cared about - keep wiggling those toes > > Sue (Aussie) > > > > > __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4793 (20100121) __________ > > The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. > > http://www.eset.com > > > >
