Guest guest
If all 800 members of this website were to start posting, all any of us would have time to do is read and delete posts all day long. I hardly ever post as I have to deal with from between 80- 120 e-mails a day as it is, any more and we would all be overwhelmed. Regards, Dana P.S. You had several questions but I'll address only one because yesterday I was shocked to find out there are 800? members in this group and only a handful are posting. To me this means that some of us are over posting or intimidating to the others. Speak up the rest of you. I'm going to sit back and post less. I won't monopolize the floor. Yes I'm a stockholder of Pfizer and as a voting stockholder I have more influence on the conduct of the company than as a non-stockholder so I can in my small way influence such things as executive compensation. I'm also a stockholder of Given Imaging which makes a camera pill a patient can swallow and get pictures from inside the body. I bought stock in that company because I believe in it. I'm also a stockholder of Vector tobacco. It makes one of the healthier cigarettes. Now I'm going to settle back into the reading mode and hope some of the hundreds of list members who aren't posting will take this opportunity to give a little. This list isn't just about taking, it is also about sharing, so come on share something. Guest guest
Hi Satya. It seems to me that people post when they need to...I posted regularly, along with Satya and several others from 2004 to about 2006. It was when I was on treatment and had tons of questions to ask and plenty of information to share. And I really benefitted from the camaraderie I found here. I post now only when I have something useful to add to the mix. And I agree with Dana; there would be no time to do anything else if all 800 members posted. just my 2 cents. Guest guest
WalterI have no idea whatsoever where you are going with your thoughts !!! I have no question about the compassion from this group. I also have no problem with anyone that does not believe the same things as I do and would certainly never accuse them of having no caring or compassion because we disagree on some issue. Please leave me out of your preaching about anything that goes on here. Let's see, I brought up a new personal issue late last night - did you show any caring and compassion about that?? So, stop preaching.Gloria You may be surprised to find more compassion than you think or care to admit is here in this group.Just do not think or try to believe that just because someone does not agree with you that they have no caring, compassion, etc. From our home to your home, we pray and speak blessings, success and prosperity.Dr. Walter L. Guest guest
Hi, Gavriela! ... so nice to see you around! .....the only thing i've done lately to try to tweak my protocol is to try to get my doc to give me LDN...but he won't...i thought he was a pretty cool doc, and he is a good 'system's man', in that he will write letters for me when i need them.. (concerning getting my protocol subsidized and getting food stamps and housing clearances)....but he just won't prescribe the LDN....he says he talked to the gastros and they poo-poo it for the treatment of Hep c ... and because the FDA supposedly won't approve it for Hep c.... it's off label, and of course, at such low doses, the big mama pharms probably can't make enough money off it... Anyone know a good way to get LDN without your primary or a gastro prescribing it? Or how i can convince my very dear pcp to give it to me?? Thanks, Blessings, Satya Re: [ ] Health Care If all 800 members of this website were to start posting, all any of us would have time to do is read and delete posts all day long. Guest guest
This is what I would do and if my doctor won't give it to me I may just go to another doctor and tell a big fat lie. Look it up what its for and lie and tell them you have a good reason for it. Guest guest
For those interested in alternative healing methods.... " according to a recent " 60 Minutes " documentary, there are twice as many lobbyists working on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry as there are Congressmen. They are paid to solicit the support of law makers for legislation that protects the interests of the drug manufacturers, and to discredit alternative cancer treatments, in the media. " Alternative treatments and demonstrated cures for cancer have been extensively documented during the past hundred of years. Unfortunately, much of this information has been suppressed, or deliberately discredited, because it poses a threat to those interests that profit from patented treatments. Guest guest
Spam! Where are the moderators of this group? Does anyone here who's been here longer know if they've simply abandoned this group? I know it happens. People set up a group with the best of intentions and then their lives change and they go a different direction. there are thousands of abandoned floating around that end up being vehicles for spam and porn. I've tried contacting both the listed owner and the 1 moderator a couple different times and didn't get a response. Too bad. I'd hate to see this group get over-run by spam, internet trolls and phishers.
