That is Great Lottie that you and Jimmy will have 55 years coming up.

Enjoying reading about these long term marriages. You do not see much of it

these days.

A friend's father explained the secret of his long and happy marriage in a

speech at the friend's wedding a few years ago:

" On the day before we were married I sat my wife down and made this agreement

with her. As the husband, all the really important decisions in our life would

always be made by me. She, on the other hand, could make all the small,

unimportant decisions. We have stuck by this agreement ever since and I'm glad

to say that in 40 years of happy marriage we have never yet had to make an

important decision. "
