Sometimes forgotten, but I think in the end we all realize it again.  I thought

it was over for me ( at the age of 22 ) Not to much to be thankful for 6 years

ago. :-)

Dear ,

Congratulations on your survival. When you reach 10 years, you will go into my

book of fame as having lived with CML for 10 years. Anita was another one of

our group who was told she would not survive if she didn't have a bone marrow

transplant. She is thriving as

well as one can after being in remission for several years. The spirit of life

is within each of us and you give us all hope and courage. You have been

blessed and have graced us with your being a part of . I think most of us

had a moment when we didn't think we would make it, but here we are celebrating

with you and vice versa.

Hands & hearts,

Lottie Duthu
