Guest guest
I was diagnosed with CML in Jan. 2007, and achieved complete remmission in March 2008, with Gleevec. I had completely negative PCR till a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, my last 2 PCRs were positive. My doctor is now telling me that she my switch me to Tasigna or Sprycel, and I have a consult with a Transplant specialist. The consult is just a precaution, to begin to get me into the transpant system. She is confident that new drugs will work. Has anyone had a similar experience where you were in complete remmission with Gleevecm, but then it started to come back and you switched to a different drug? I would love to hear some feedback, I feel kind of low today. Efrem Fischer
