Guest guest
I dread my cats landing in the tub cause I will probably get clawed.Your liver function isn't too bad but you need to get that ammonia level down.Take care hon. Gail Tests etc Hi Guys, Just got home from the doctor's office with two sore arms (one flu shot, one pneumonia shot) & some fresh test results. Guess what?????????? They're high where they should be low & low when they should be high. ALT - 91 - Norms 5 & 42 AST - 153 - norms 10 to 40 Alkaline Phosphatase - 286 Ammonia - 92 - Norms 9 to 33 Bilirubin - 38 - Norms up to 22 Platelets - 71 - norms 150 to 400 If only the ones that high could trade places with the ones that are low, I'd be a happy camper. My doc said not to test my sugars more than 3 times a day since my platelets are low. SpYke's up to new tricks. Last night I took a bath. He's got me well trained, I can't close the door or he has fits & tries to dig a hole under the door. So, anyways, I'm sitting in the tub & I notice him sitting in the doorway with a very serious look on his face. He was playing lifeguard & trying to decide which was worse, getting wet or losing me. Some lifeguard that is!! Hugs, SuZie & SpYke Next time I'm coming back as a cat

Guest guest
Hi Mama Gail, SpYke wouldn't even think of jumping into the tub unless I was drowning & then it's a toss up over letting me die & having to break in a new servant or get his paws wet trying to pull me out. I think he'd pick the new servant, easier. My tests aren't too bad. Some of them have come down a good deal. The only ones I worry about are the platelets & the ammonia. I've got to bring the platelets up & the ammonia down - working on it. Guest guest
So far we're doing nothing at all.I guess it's not low enough to worry them, just me when I see myself getting bruises from nothing. Everytime I test my sugar it seems that "pin prick" takes longer to stop bleeding. Hugs, SuZie ( & SpYke too of course) Next time I'm coming back as a cat [Hepatitis CSupportG roupForDummies] Tests etc Hi Guys, Just got home from the doctor's office with two sore arms (one flu shot, one pneumonia shot) & some fresh test results. Guest guest
The ammonia levels may be no fun to bring down, but you must get them down. What are they going to do to help get your plateletes up.
