Camille,

Whatever you feel in your heart is best then that is the way to go.

Should you continue to have nagging suspicions then please post to us

again. Good luck to you and .

Camille,

Thank you for letting us know. It is good to be at peace with a

decision. I'm glad you found some good resources to consult. His

headshape will improve in time and if it were mild then it probably

would be undetectable to most people. We will be here if you need us.

Take care and God bless!

Hi, I was on the board about 3 weeks ago when my pediatrician told us that our daughter, now 10 months, should get a band. So, we went to the craniofacial plastic surgeon yesterday who did a Star Scan and told us that her case is very mild. She has a trace amount of facial assymetry - nothing noticable at all and the flat spot on her the right side of her head is not bad either. He said that because her case is so mild, he is very confident that it will improve on its own as her brain grows. It has definately gotten better over the last 3 months since she really started crawling around. He did suggest that she get PT to fix the rest of her Torticollis. I just want to say thank you to everyone who answered my questions about Plagio, as I was very nervous and knew very little. I also

want to recommend this Doc here in the Chicago area. His name is Vicari and he is at Children's Memorial. He is excellent - very nice, very patient, and VERY honest. He said he has over 300 Plagio patients and he is the only doc in Illinois to use the Star Scanner, which literally took 2.5 seconds to get a picture perfect 3-D image of my daughters head.Thank you again for all your help and I hope you all have great outcomes with your babes!!For more plagio info

Dear Priscilla,

I'm glad you are getting some help and that the meds are helping. I

just recently started a new med and am amazed at how much better I

feel, and what it does for my outlook. My husband and I (he has

Parkinson's) sat in church this morning & held hands, and I got the

strongest feeling that the spirit of God was present there! Our

daughter sang a duet with her friend, and has NEVER sung loud

enough to be heard, though she has a pretty voice. This morning it was

like someone opened a gate and all the music and joy flowed out, I

nearly cried.

What is your fiance's name? I will add him (and you)to my prayer list,

and bless him and the others for what they are doing. Our church is

getting together needed items to truck down south later this week.

Yay for the emotional relief! It's a huge thing when you're going

through this. And how wonderful that you were able to see the

rheumotologist so quickly!

I hope that you're able to fight back quickly and that you;re feeling

better soon!

Dear :

I am a home school mom of 2 boys - Almost 15 and 12. The 15 year old is ADHD/PDD - NOS/ Aspergers Syndrome. I live in S.W. Wisconsin w/no help our home school groups. Any advise or insight will help. My almost 15 year old was diagnosed at 3rd grade and changes were made. I had to pull them out of school because the teachers were not trained and would locked him in a "quiet room". I now have them both at home and was wondering if you have any curriculum or know of other mom's in my area that home school, what do they use for curriculum. Thank you in advance for any info that you could supply me with. I am very isolated with no help ful resources. I am an hour drive from Madison and in the winter w/-40 degree below and 2 feet of snow on the ground it makes getting out sort of hard. I only have the computer and book resources to go to. Thank you again. A. Sterland ssterland@....

I don't know about cost but the e-school we belong to is using a lot of books online this year. My ds uses all HOLT books online except for a Science book, which he has here. It is kind of nice to have the books online. It takes a little bit to load, which is my only complaint. I love the Language arts book online because you can opt to have the stories read to you and we do that in Social Studies too. Then they have notebooks you can click and jot down notes, answers to questions and even a highlighter function. The math book has so many features - extra practice pages, quizes you can take at each section and even little mini-movies that teach the problem again.

Thank you all for your warm thank yous! I so appreciate it and I know that

everyone here " gets it " how exciting this news was for me personally.

I had an amazing Christmas and was so grateful to be with my family and enjoying

time with my two nephews-- who is 3 1/2 and who is four months...

Yes, this Ariad drug does appear to be something really special!

Jackie--you know you will be there with me! You've just had to take a few

" vacations " that I haven't had to.

Hugs and love to all,
