Hi Lottie,

I am so sorry to hear Bobby's sick. As a mother, it's so hard to see our

children ill. And a helpless feeling. I know you will be strong for him, but it

can't be easy. Keep your head up - time will heal him.

Have a Merry Christmas. Forward my wishes to Jimmie. :)

Love, Jackie S.

What a lovely prayer for Vanetta to have a new beginning. You are always

so thoughtful, Sue and they can certainly count on my prayers. This will be a

sad Christmas for our family as we watch our oldest son, as he battles

tuberculosis. He is so depressed that he will be on antibiotics for 18 more

months. Please pray that my Bobby gets a chance for a new beginning. He is

nauseated and throws up frequently. The sparkle in his eyes and his smile is

gone, it's like there is nothing there but skin and bones.

Everyone is afraid to go to his house, but he is not infectious at this stage.

The only way you can catch it is if you breathe in the vapors from 3 feet away

when he is infectious. It's hard for me to look at him without crying, or even

think of him for that matter. I look for pictures of him in better days, but I

can't erase the sound of his coughing from my ears. He loves it when I bring

food from home, but since I picked up that bug at my brother's funeral, I have

not been able to do anything. I finally broke down and went to my ENT and he

put me on antibiotics, but I am trying to avoid them, since I get toxic

poisoning from them, not to mention an intestional ulcer from gastritis, caused

by all the antibiotics.

Merry Christmas,

Lottie Duthu

Lottie,

I am so very sorry to hear about Bobby's illness. As Jackie said, it is terribly

hard seeing our children sick. No matter what the age, we want to make it " all

better. "

Hugs and prayers to you, my dear.

JoAnn

I couldn't have said it better. It takes it all out of you when your

children are suffering! And of course it's hard for the ill person to

believe they will ever get better. Treatment seems so interminable. You are

all in my heart, on my mind, and in my prayers.

Love,

Lottie,

I am adding your son to my prayers. I had no idea you were facing this daunting

challenge.
