Guest guest
Jerri - this associate must be new. We were in clinic last month and heard nothing. I spoke with Dr. K last week and she mentioned nothing. Googling the name turned up this: " A. DeMuth, M.D.Assistant Professor of PediatricsDr. DeMuth has been recruited to Emory as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. She istrained as a Pediatric Allergist-Immunologist and received her M.D. degree from RossUniversity. She completed her internship/residency in pediatrics and fellowship inallergy-immunology at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr DeMuth's interests include the care of children with asthma, atopic dermatitis, food allergy, and primaryimmunodeficiency. Obviously your daughter failed her alternate antibiotic and needs to return to her original prescription. My husband takes one type of antibiotic as his prophylactic coverage and another for a different condition. It is possible to take two at one time. Not all antibiotics cover the same organisms or work well for everything. I would try restarting the original prescription before considering infusions again. I did email Dr. K to ask about the new doc but wanted to respond to you as quickly as possible.
