Do you panic when your kids are exposed to an illness? I do!!! My DH thinks I am

a nut but every time our kids are exposed to something beyond a common cold, it

is very anxiety producing for me. For example, last night we went out to eat

with a couple of other families, today one of the boys, who is a good friend of

Henry's and he was sitting next to him while EATING, has come down with a fever

of 102 and flu symptoms (respiratory). There is a HUGE outbreak of influenza at

the boy's school (I know another child who goes there - just had confirmed flu-

and the secretary and nurse at the school told the mother. So now I am

worried. Please tell me it is normal to worry :)Betsy - mom to Henry - 9 3/4 yrs

old - CVID, Metabolic DIsorder, Allergies, Asthma and Sam - 4 yr old - low IGG,

Asthma

am a nut but every time our kids are exposed to something beyond a common cold,

it is very anxiety producing for me.

Please tell me it is normal to worry :)
