Guest guest
's blood work from 2005 show that she had: 4.2 to serotype 14 preimmunization 10.5 to serotype 14 posimmunization To me that is pretty good showing. It is over 1.3 ug and it is a 2 fold increase. Yet, that is is the type of pneumonia that she was just hospitalized with. The blood work done the day we were hospitalized with pneumonia showed a 5.2 for serotype 14. Why would she have still gotten that serotype with those numbers? Any ideas? She goes today for a blood draw and another pneumovax immunization, then back in Feb. for the post vaccination blood draw.
