Guest guest
Hi: I was so frustrated with that visit with the new doctor, and I wrote to Dr. Druker. He agreed with me. He said if there was something going on in the marrow then there would be a change in the PCR numbers to give a warning. Also, if there was a change in the marrow, it would be monitored more closely to be able to do whatever necessary to get the PCR back to where it was. I guess he meant change in treatment. He did not feel that this required me to go through the discomfort of a BMB. His exact words. I have plenty of time to think this over,or maybe get another consult from another doctor. This doctor only met me for the first time, and I really do not know much about him. I only know he took over my Oncologist's practice. That is not enough for me. Really need to pray about this one. Hope this helps others with the same decisions they might face.
