Has anyone else been on only 70 mg? ______________________ Now that this drug is FDA approved, the standard starting dose is 100mg once a day. Some people are on more or less than this amount, depending on how effective the drug is for them and what side effects they are having.......so it is variable. I was on 100mg once a day.......actually just dropped to 80mg once a day because of having pleural effusions at 100mg (that did not occur for me in the past when I was on 80mg once a day).
